About This Event

Three original 1970s punk bands play The Prince Albert this afternoon. Stormtrooper formed in 1975, recording "I'm a Mess," which saw a private release. Its accompanying badge was famously worn by Sid Vicious. The band has since re-formed and is playing shows again.

Trash also started in 1975, signing to Polydor. They released singles like "Priorities" and "N-N-E-R-V-O-U-S," the latter produced by Shel Talmy. After recording new music in 2025, they are playing live for the first time in decades. Social Security began in late 1976 after seeing The Damned. Active in the Bristol punk scene, their E.P. was acclaimed by John Peel. Social Security has also reformed and is now performing live.
